NMCL Shipping Policy
SHIPPING TERMS
Our primary shipping method for smaller orders is “Ground”. It uses weight and dimensions to calculate shipping fees based on the total shipping box dimensions of the products in your cart.
All orders must be prepaid prior to shipment. All shipping costs and fees must be paid in advance before the order is shipped. After your payment is confirmed and your order has shipped, tracking information will be sent to the email associated with your Dealer account.
Our normal time frame to process and ship your order(s) is 5-10 business days from the date your order is paid for in full (for domestic orders shipping to the lower 48 U.S. states). For pallet orders shipping domestically or internationally, ship times can be extended by up to another 5 business days. We do not ship on weekends or U.S. holidays that we are closed. Delays in delivery time from our warehouse may occur during periods of inclement weather. Additional processing time is required to prepare orders shipping to Amazon FBA, bundled item orders, and international orders requiring export paperwork.
Please note, there is no more Free Shipping Effective July 1, 2021
- All orders under $2,500 pay 100% of their shipping.
- Orders over $2,500 that exceed 300 lbs. total weight for the order will be subject to adjusted LTL shipping rates automatically generated during checkout, that is calculated based on the order total. Smaller orders close to 300 lbs. may or may not ship LTL per our Discretion.
- Orders under 300 lbs. total weight for the order will be subject to 100% of their shipping charges, regardless of the order value total. These orders will ship as “Ground”.
- International orders shipping LTL to freight forwarders within the US (lower 48 states) will have a flat $250 charge to cover shipping costs. Your Account Manager will need to enter all international orders on your behalf to receive this special rate.
- None of the standard shipping costs/charges mentioned above cover any additional services, such as Lift Gate Fees, Residential Delivery Fees, etc. You will be invoiced for any of these services you require for delivery.
Please note that in the second and fourth shipping cost models regarding “Freight Shipping LTL”, the higher the order total, the lower the percentage of shipping costs will be.
DROP SHIP ORDERS
Standard Dealer Accounts are meant for wholesale business with orders shipping to the Dealer’s businesses, warehouses, 3PL shipping partners, Amazon FBA, etc. If a dealer desires to be a part of New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. dropship services program known as “Quick Ship”, the Dealer will need to contact their Account Manager to get signed up. The Quick Ship Program has its own policies and ordering portal. Dealers who signed up and placed their first order after May 2020 are not eligible to participate in the Quick-Ship Program. Details will be provided upon request to those who qualify. The following are general guidelines:
If the order is being drop shipped to a customer, please enter the customer’s shipping address in the “Ship to” section. To place multiple orders, each shipping address must be entered as a separate, individual order. New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. does not offer bulk orders to multiple shipping addresses at this time. Communications, including the tracking number, will be sent to the email address associated with your Dealer account. It is the responsibility of the Dealer to manage all communication with their respective customers.
All Dropship Orders to dealers’ customers are sent “NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED” unless otherwise requested... New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. is not responsible for lost orders. Dealer assumes the complete risk if the package is lost when the shipping carrier confirms it was delivered.
by placing orders to be drop shipped directly to your customer, you agree that NMCL is not responsible for lost orders.
All wholesale orders are shipped SIGNATURE REQUIRED
All Wholesale orders are sent "Signature Required". If you would prefer "No Signature Required" for delivery, you must indicate this in the "Order Notes" section of the checkout process (see below).
Please note: New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. is not responsible for lost orders sent "No Signature Required" at request of the Dealer. Dealer assumes the complete risk if the package is lost when the shipping carrier confirms it was delivered.
UNDELIVERABLE/RETURNED PACKAGES (within the lower 48 U.S. states)
An undeliverable order is an order that was not successfully delivered for various reasons. In the event that the carrier is unable to deliver your order for any reason (including incorrect address), the carrier will return the package to our shipping warehouse. This package will then be sent back at the same original cost of shipping upon your request. Example: if the original cost to ship is $20 then return shipping is $20 plus any applicable fees. Dealers are responsible for all fees incurred due to orders not being deliverable for any reason. Shipping and/or freight charges are non-refundable.
If your package is returned to our shipping warehouse, your Account Manager will notify you by sending an email to the address associated with your Dealer account.
Fees are as follows:
- Reship is original cost of shipping plus Return fee
- Return fee on all returned shipments $12.50
- Redirect fee $21.90
- Recall fee $21.90
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. typically ships international orders as “Shipping (International)” via UPS Worldwide Expedited, unless another option is available and chosen. After selecting items in your cart, you must enter your shipping address, including the postal code, to receive a shipping estimate. All international customers are responsible for any customs charges, taxes, duties and/or brokerage charges (if applicable), which vary by country. Please note that failure to pay these charges at delivery may result in the shipment being marked as “abandoned”; if this occurs, it is completely the Dealer’s financial loss both of the product and shipping. New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. bears no responsibility to try and retrieve the abandoned shipment(s). To avoid conflicts and undesirable surprises, we encourage you as our customer to research, learn and understand the process by which international charges/fees are paid (usually at the point of package receipt). Please also be aware that if the option is available and you choose to have us ship through USPS (Priority Mail), we are not responsible for any USPS package once it leaves the United States, and that you will incur/accept 100% of the loss if the shipment is damaged, lost, or undeliverable. However, UPS Worldwide Expedited, shown in our system as “Shipping (International)”, is insured worldwide and provides protection for financial loss only if the shipment is damaged or lost by the carrier (excludes abandoned shipments). Inability of the carrier to make delivery based on an address error, refusal to pay taxes and duties, or if there is no one to receive the shipment after the carrier has made their specified number of attempts may result in “Abandonment” as explained above. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding these types of shipments.
UK VAT Scheme- Effective January 1, 2021
On January 1, 2021, the UK implemented a new VAT scheme which applies to all orders under £135 shipping to the UK from outside of the UK. However, this does not apply to orders above that threshold. Therefore, to avoid this inconvenience, effective January 1, 2021, all orders shipping to the UK (whether we are shipping directly to you in the UK or to a freight forwarder with an ultimate destination in the UK) will have a minimum order requirement of $200 USD. Any order under the $200 USD requirement after January 1, 2021 will be immediately canceled and refunded. This new addition to the policy should prevent the need to create new processes or additional expenses to do business together.
USCMA
New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. (NMCL) and its shipping partners will not provide requested USMCA forms for customers (Authorized Dealers) purchasing products to be shipped to Canada and Mexico, to be able to claim import duty savings under USMCA preferential treatment. Our decision not to participate in providing USMCA forms is the result of proprietary information that would be revealed, and that we choose not to disclose. Dealers in Canada and Mexico have the option of not claiming preferential duty treatment under the USMCA. Not claiming USMCA preferential treatment should not prevent Dealers from importing and taking possession of their orders. New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. will provide the same type of documents to all international Dealers, regardless of the country they reside in. Provided documents include a Commercial Invoice, Packing List and Bill of Lading on all shipments, sufficient to clear customs and enable delivery.
It is the Authorized Dealer’s responsibility to coordinate with their customs broker to inform them that a Certificate of Origin will not be provided, and not declare USMCA preferential duty treatment on their shipment(s).
FREIGHT DELIVERY AND OPTIONS (PALLET ORDERS)
When shipping large orders (usually those weighing over 300 pounds), we will typically ship the order on a pallet using an LTL freight carrier for delivery. Additional delivery fees may apply in certain circumstances or when requesting specific delivery services. If you are unable or unwilling to accept a palletized order, you will be responsible for the additional cost of shipping the order via another method.
A Bill of Lading (BOL) is a required legal shipping document that shows that the carrier has received the freight as described, and is then obligated to deliver that freight in good condition to the recipient. The information on the BOL includes a description of the shipping contents and the shipping destination. New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. will issue the BOL to the freight carrier at the point of pick up. The BOL is signed by the freight carrier to confirm the shipment. We will email you a copy of the BOL upon request, from which you can obtain tracking information on your shipment. Please note that it is your responsibility to compare the BOL to the actual shipment received (before the freight driver leaves), to ensure that the order is complete and free of damage. In the event that damage is detected, the damage must be noted on the driver’s copy of the shipping receipt (before the freight driver leaves) by writing the following on the receipt: “Subject to final inspection-possible damage noted.” A copy of this receipt should also be retained for your records.
*To access the following shipping options on the Store Cart as a Dealer, you must be logged into your account on berkeywater.com:
Lift Gate Fees
When freight companies deliver a pallet order, they either require delivery to a business dock or to a location where unloading equipment is available. The lift gate fee is an additional cost, and NOT part of the shipping cost calculated during checkout. If you are placing a large order and do not have the necessary loading dock or unloading equipment, you will need to add this option to your Store Cart to purchase during checkout. Please note that in the event you do not add this fee to your Store Cart, but a lift gate is needed, a bill will be generated for you. To access this option, please log in to your account on berkeywater.com and navigate to the PARTS AND ACCESSORIES tab > DEALER SUPPORT > Lift Gate Fee
Residential Delivery Fees
Freight companies charge additional fees when delivering to anywhere other than a business. If you are having freight (pallet) order delivered to a residential address, you will need to add this to your Store Cart during checkout. Please note that in the event you do not add this fee to your Store Cart, but the shipment is sent to a residence, a bill will be generated for you. To access this option, please log in to your account on berkeywater.com and navigate to the PARTS AND ACCESSORIES tab > DEALER SUPPORT > Residential Delivery Fee
Bundled Add-On Charge
Dealers that are interested in placing orders that they would like pre-packaged and shipped in "Bundle" form can do so. There is a $3.00 add-on charge for each bundled item. All bundled orders must be called in and placed via your New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. account representative because there are limitations as it relates to which items can be bundled together. To access this option, please log in to your account on berkeywater.com and navigate to the PARTS AND ACCESSORIES tab > DEALER SUPPORT > Bundle $3.00 Add-On Charge.
Please note: You will be charged the $3.00 bundle fee per each individual bundled item. For example, if you bundle 20 Big Berkeys® with 20 sets of Berkey PF-2™, you will be charged $3 per each bundle equaling $60 in bundle fees.
Inside Delivery Fee
For pallet orders, trucking companies charge an additional fee when a driver is required to go inside (beyond the front door or loading dock) to deliver a shipment. When you are placing a freight pallet order and do not have the necessary equipment to move the shipment to the loading area, you must add this fee to your cart. The Inside Delivery Fee is additional, and not part of the shipping cost calculated during checkout. Please note that in the event you do not add this fee to your Store Cart but an Inside Delivery fee is needed, a bill will be generated for you. To access this option, please log in to your account on berkeywater.com and navigate to the PARTS AND ACCESSORIES tab > DEALER SUPPORT > Inside Delivery Fee
SHIPMENTS SENT DIRECTLY TO AMAZON FULFILLMENT CENTERS
If a Dealer's order is shipped by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. to Amazon, please be aware that Amazon will not communicate with New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. regarding the status or details of the order. Consequently, all Dealers are required to understand and agree to the following terms:
- If any shipping or receiving discrepancies occur on orders shipped by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. to Amazon on behalf of the Dealer, via pallet or any other method, New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. will conduct a thorough internal investigation to determine what, if any, responsibility we have for the shipping dispute.
- If there is a lack of evidence to show that New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. made the shipping error, then any loss on the order shipped to Amazon will be deemed a loss to the Dealer and not to New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. This includes the hindrance to our investigation as a result of Amazon's unwillingness to discuss the matter with us as part of their internal policies.
- Should we find clear evidence of a mistake, management will assess each situation on a case-by-case basis and work with the Dealer accordingly.
AMAZON SCANNABLE BARCODE LABELS
All orders being shipped to Amazon Fulfillment centers must have scannable bar code labels (FBA) attached to the order. Orders with an Amazon FBA address without the bar codes will not be shipped until correct documentation has been provided. Please contact Amazon if you need any assistance with generating scannable bar codes for your shipments. If you choose this service option, you will need to add the appropriate product SKU to your Store Cart during checkout, and upload the labels. To do this, please log in to your account on berkeywater.com and navigate to the PARTS AND ACCESSORIES tab > DEALER SUPPORT > Attach Amazon Scannable Bar Code (FBA). These labels must be uploaded in PDF format. In addition, you may also receive an email from our shipping department regarding the number of scannable box (case) labels required for your order.
